Bitdefender
Consumer and enterprise cybersecurity - scam protection, password management, and the analytics platforms Bitdefender’s telecom and ISP partners run on.
- Accessibility Lead for the company - the main consumer suite conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA across desktop, mobile and every supported OS.
- Re-designed Bitdefender’s ecosystem of scam protection products.
- Six products on this page: four consumer, two enterprise.
Accessibility Lead
I lead accessibility for Bitdefender’s main consumer suite - the standard itself, the design system that enforces it, and the training that keeps the rest of the company applying it.
WCAG 2.2 AA
The product conforms to all Level AA success criteria: desktop, mobile, every supported OS.
A new accessible design system
Built so the standard is met by default, not audited back in afterwards.
Training across the company
Guidance for everyone whose work touches accessibility, not just designers.

1.Scam ProtectionConsumer
Bitdefender’s bundle of anti-scam products, working across all of a person’s devices.
WHAT I DID
- Re-designed the whole bundle off the back of user testing run by an external research agency in 2025.
- Moved the model from generic protection to the scam categories each person is most exposed to, inferred from their own online activity.
2.Scam RadarConsumer
A new capability inside Scam Protection that warns people about scam campaigns circulating near them.
WHAT I DID
- Designed a new feature into a shipped product: alerts for scams spreading locally on Facebook and via SMS.
- The alert doesn’t just warn, it shows the scam so people recognize it, then explains how to stay clear of it.
3.Data analytics dashboardEnterprise
An analytics platform Bitdefender’s telecom partners use to see the threat landscape across their subscriber base.
WHAT I DID
- Improved the existing platform and introduced new data visualisation types for threat, device and household data.
- Designed for an audience that reads the data to make commercial decisions, not security operators.
4.Password managerConsumer
SecurePass -> Bitdefender’s password manager for individuals and families. I took over the project from another designer. I had to onboard quickly in order to start supporting the dev team and coming up with improvements.
WHAT I DID
- Analyzed and improved the existing flows, especially for password capture and login.
- Provided continuous support for the development team on all platforms: Android, iOS, Windows, MacOS and browser extension.
5Network domains management platformEnterprise
The platform Internet Service Providers use to secure their network by blocking unsafe domains.
WHAT I DID
- There was no product when I come onboard. I designed it from ground up based on a set of requirements from the project manager.
- Small Internet Service Providers don't have the capability to built a platform themselves so the purpose was to provide a plug and play solution.
6.Scamio - AI powered scam assistantConsumer
Bitdefender’s free AI assistant that tells you whether the message in front of you is a scam.
WHAT I DID
- Extended the assistant with detailed reports and educational resources, and re-worked the conversation itself.
- Designed the flows for four surfaces: web, WhatsApp, Messenger and Discord.
- The interesting part: The design problem wasn’t the interface, it was the journey. Some scenarios were safe to let the AI handle on its own but the critical ones, like analyzing evidence and delivering a verdict, had to stay under the team’s control. Drawing that line was the actual work.
